Preston was born in La Jolla CA. and moved to Boise in 1973. After graduating from Boise High School in 1991, Preston graduated from ITT Technical Institute and received his Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering working in the electronics field for approximately 10 years. Preston decided to take on a new professional direction and earned his Bachelor Degree of Applied Science from Boise State University specializing in Drafting technologies and Geospatial Information Systems.

In 2013 Preston joined the Accurate Surveying team, bringing with him a vast array of drafting skills and real world experience. Preston’s attention to detail and exacting standards has allowed Accurate Surveying to produce the highest quality maps in an efficient and timely manner. Spending time in the field and the office simultaneously has allowed Preston to gain added insight to the scope of work required for projects ranging from topographic mapping to large scale development projects.

Preston is married with 3 young sons. When his family allows it, he enjoys Mt. Biking, Backpacking, Golfing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
